Thursday of the 2nd week of Advent
Reading: Isaiah 41:13-20
When God takes our hand, as Isaiah describes, what seemed barren becomes fertile, what appeared hopeless begins to overflow with life. In Advent we stand before a promise capable of transforming wastelands into gardens, deserts into flowing springs. God does not simply improve our circumstances; He renews them at their very roots, planting in places we once believed lifeless. Where fear parched us, He pours confidence; where sin made us dry, He brings grace that runs like rivers. Advent reminds us that divine intervention is not subtle, it is creative, abundant, and surprising, like cedars and olive trees rising where sand once blew. The Messiah comes not only to solve problems but to bring forth a new world within us, where hope grows green again. Let’s reflect: Advent, is the season in which God enters our barrenness and begins a work of renewal, turning dryness into flowing grace and planting hope where life once seemed impossible.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, we gathered at the Church of Our Lady on the Sand in Wrocław to celebrate the Eucharist at the tomb of the Servant of God, Fr. Jan Schneider , founder of our congregation and Wrocław apostle of mercy, to celebrate and experience the 149th anniversary of his death in community. For us, the spiritual daughters of Fr. Jan Schneider, it was an opportunity to praise and thank God for the gift of his life, heroic faith, and apostolate. During the Eucharist, we all prayed for the gift of Fr. Jan Schneider’s beatification, for the Congregation, and for all those who confidently ask for graces through the intercession of our Wrocław Servant of God. Fr. Prof. Zdzisław Lec gave a moving homily, showing us, based on the Chronicle written by the first Marian Sisters in the second half of the 19th century, how the sisters who formed the first community perceived their Founder and how they learned trust, service, and sacrifice from him. After Mass, we gathered with the faithful at the tomb of Fr. Jan Schneider to implore his intercession for graces, help, and miracles. And then we enjoyed a shared agape meal, a gathering at the table and conversations. It was a good time, a meeting that strengthened our hope and gave us new strength to boldly follow in the footsteps of Fr. Jan, the Founding Father of our congregation.

Wednesday of the 2nd week of Advent
Our Lady of Loreto
Reading: Isaiah 40:25-31
This Advent, Isaiah reminds us that renewal is born from hope rooted in God’s strength, not our own. “They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar as with eagles’ wings; they will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint.” Advent calls us to pause, to breathe, to lift our eyes beyond fatigue and uncertainty, and to expect God to act. Our Lady of Loreto, who welcomed the Word into the humble space of her daily life, shows us that when God dwells with us, the ordinary becomes a place of ascent. In her home, heaven touched earth; in our hearts, hope desires to do the same. As we wait for Christ, we are invited to exchange our weakness for His endurance, our heaviness for His wings, our fears for His quiet strength. Advent is not merely anticipation, it is restoration, a season in which God teaches us to rise again. Let’s reflect: Advent is the season of renewal in hope, where, strengthened by God rather than by our own efforts, we rise again in trust, gaining new strength to walk, to run, and even to soar toward the coming of Christ.

Tuesday of the 2nd week of Advent

Reading: Isaiah 40:1-11
In this second week of Advent, Isaiah’s words come like warm sunlight on a cold morning: “Comfort, give comfort to my people, says your God.” Advent reveals the tenderness of a Father who bends down to lift burdens, smooth rough paths, and speak to our hearts with gentleness. God does not approach with demands but with consolation—carrying us like a shepherd gathers lambs, holding us close to His heart. The coming of Jesus is the arrival of that comfort made flesh: God among us, not distant or judging, but healing, guiding, and restoring hope where discouragement once grew. As we wait for Christmas, we are invited not to brace ourselves, but to rest in His promise—allowing His voice to soothe fear, His mercy to quiet regret, and His presence to renew our strength. Advent is learning to let God comfort us, so that we too may become agents of comfort for others. Let’s reflect: Advent is a season of divine consolation, when God draws near to comfort His people, lift their burdens, and let hope rest gently in their hearts.

On December 8, on the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Congregation celebrates its patronal feast. It is an important day of prayer, gratitude, and entrustment to Mary, who is our patroness.
On the same day, the Community of the Children of Mary in Brzezie also experienced a special time. During a solemn Mass, the girls and boys renewed their promises, entrusting their lives once again to the care of the Mother of God. The community also grew by five new girls, who were joyfully welcomed into the circle of the Children of Mary.
This is a beautiful sign of living faith and Mary’s presence in the hearts of the youngest. May her caring protection guide the entire community on the path of goodness, peace, and devotion to God.
