First Saturday : Let us entrust ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Gospel Luke 10:17-24
“Yet do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you; rejoice rather that your names are written in heaven”. These words of Jesus make us understand how important to live according to a vertical dimension than a horizontal dimension. What is important always is to have our names written in heaven. It’s more important than any other earthly achievement. There can be lots of earthly achievements. As we read, the disciples had lot of achievements. Even the devils submitted to them when they used the name of Jesus. But what is important is that their names are written in heaven. This heavenly dimension gives a meaning to everything we do in our life. This dimension comes when we become the channels of grace. This dimension comes when we become humble enough to be children of the heavenly Father. This dimension comes when we recognize how much God the Father loves us. Let’s reflect: How much importance I give to the earthly dimension of life in comparison to the heavenly dimension of life which Jesus underlines?
