On Saturday, October 17, 2026, pilgrims from the Archdiocese of Wrocław set out on the 47th Wrocław Walking Pilgrimage to the tomb of St. Hedwig of Silesia in Trzebnica. Approximately 8,000 people took part in this special event, forming a beautiful and vibrant community of faith. Among the pilgrims—alongside numerous families, young people, and priests—we, the Sisters of Mary Immaculate, were also present, as we are every year: Sr. Patrycja, Sr. Oliwia, Sr. Rachela, and Sr. Justyna. Through song, prayer, and conversation, we supported those on the journey and entrusted the entire Congregation to God through the intercession of our patroness. The culmination of the day’s efforts was a solemn Mass celebrated at the Shrine in Trzebnica, where the tomb of St. Hedwig of Silesia is located. Archbishop Zbigniew Zieliński presided over the Eucharist. The most important and moving statement from his homily—one that touched our hearts deeply—was the question: “Are we able to pass on to future generations the faith that we ourselves have received?” These words became a call to bear living witness to our faith every day. On that day, God blessed us with beautiful weather, bathed in autumn sunshine, which gave us strength as we covered the next kilometers of the trail. The 30-kilometer route was not only a time for prayer and reflection but also a space for meaningful encounters and valuable conversations that allowed us to strengthen our fraternal bonds and return to our daily responsibilities with renewed energy.
