Mary, Mother who listens, teach us to listen. We need this so much. Teach us to listen with all our hearts to the Word of God, just as you listened to Him. With loving attentiveness, with a readiness to hear, understand, accept, and finally—respond. Teach us to listen to the people around us. To listen with an attentive ear and an open heart, even when they do not speak with words. Just as you did at Cana in Galilee, when you heard the need and immediately addressed it by entrusting it to Jesus.
