Gospel: Matthew 12:46-50In today's Gospel, Jesus declares that whoever does the will of His Father is His brother, sister, and mother. He is not diminishing the importance of His earthly family but revealing that the deepest relationship with Him is born of obedience to God. True greatness in the Kingdom is measured not by status or privilege, but by a heart that seeks and fulfills the Father's will. Even Mary became the Mother of Jesus not only because she gave Him birth, but because she first said, “Let it be done to me according to your word.” Every day we are invited to make that same response. When God’s will becomes the priority of our lives, we enter into the closest possible communion with Christ and become members of His true family.
Let’s reflect: Do I sincerely seek to do the Father's will each day, allowing it to shape my choices and draw me into a deeper relationship with Christ?
