Wednesday of the 3rd week of Eastertide
Gospel: John 6:35-40In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals the center of the Father’s will: everything is ordered through the Son. “Everyone who sees the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I shall raise him up on the last day.” Our destiny is therefore inseparable from our relationship with Jesus Christ. The Father does not act apart from the Son, for He has entrusted salvation, resurrection, and eternal life to Him. To come to Christ, to believe in Him, to remain with Him, this is not one spiritual option among many, but the decisive path into the life God desires for us. Easter makes this truth radiant: the risen Son stands at the heart of the Father’s plan for humanity. In Him, no one is lost, no sincere seeker is rejected, and no life united to Him ends in death. During the Easter season, we are invited to deepen our personal bond with Christ, knowing that in drawing near to the Son, we are already entering the loving will of the Father and the promise of resurrection. Let’s reflect: Easter is entering the Father’s will through faith in the Risen Son and living in the promise of resurrection.
