7th Sunday of Easter
Gospel – John 17:11-19
“Holy Father, keep those you have given me true to your name, so that they may be one like us”. In these words of prayer of Jesus we can find out His dream about each one of us. He wants that we are close to Him and be like Him. This is His dream. We have our plans and our desires. But the plan of God is more important in our life. Jesus is praying to the Father for that. He wants that the Father keeps us so that each one of us beome like Him. This is what Jesus Christ wants: He wants that each one of us become Him. He is watching over us for this purpose. He wants that we all are united like in the unity of the Holy Trinity. Someone can think that it’s not possible. But Jesus is the one who is speaking. He wants that each one of us be united. The world does not accept the principle of unity because the divisions are more economically good. And the only way to overcome this mentality of the world is to be consecrated in the truth by the Father. Let’s reflect: Let’s pray to the Holy Spirit, so that we can be consecrated in the truth.
