Luke 14, 1.7-14

There is always a possibility to be humble. That’s the lesson of today’s Gospel. Being humble is to give space for the Jesus to appear in me. To make that space for Jesus in me, I have to make space for others around me. So always the person around me is more important than I am. Only this attitude can inspire me to be humble. When I promote myself pretending something which I am not or pretending more that I am, actually we are making ourselves little because everyone around us is watching “this show” in which I want to be something which is not myself. When we are humble, it’s easy for Jesus to appear in our actions and in our attitudes.

Be humble and recognize the providence

Be humble and recognize the providence

Before all good things we achieve or we have in our life, there is a grace and a providence. And all good things are privileges because lots of others are not getting it albeit their capacities or even necessities. So, the moment we recognize something good, we should look back with gratitude all the good faces that helped us to be what we are today and all the graces we received to be what we are today. Be humble and recognize the providence.
