Mother General’s visit to Indonesia

Mother General’s visit to Indonesia

The visit of Mother General Sr. Sibilla to Indonesia, where two of our sisters, Sr. Claudia and Sr. Augusta, have been staying for 4 months, is underway from May 13 to 30. Currently, the task of the sisters is to figure out what opportunities for development our congregation has here The current visit of the Mother General is another stage of discerning our future in Indonesia On site, together with the sisters, four girls who want to join our Congregation were waiting for the Superior General. From the very beginning, our stay in Indonesia has been supported by Father Tadeusz Gruca, a Verbist, who provides us with rooms to live in and shows us great kindness in everything we need in our new place In prayer, let us commend to God this time of recognition and all those who are helping us in Indonesia.

MEETINGS FOR ANIMATORS OF CHILDREN OF MARY AND NOT ONLY

MEETINGS FOR ANIMATORS OF CHILDREN OF MARY AND NOT ONLY

We rejoice and thank God for the fact that in the slowly passing 2023/2024 school year, we were able to return to the very old tradition of Marian meetings in Katowice.
S.M. Teresa Fatyga has responded to requests from several girls and animates monthly Bible and prayer meetings with them. The slowly growing number of participants shows the openness of young people to the Lord God and the desire for their own formation in faith and in community. At our religious house in Katowice, we want to give young people space to grow.

The theme of our last retreat this school year is: Mother, Who Knows Us….
We want to thank Mary that under her Gracious Gaze, listening to her Heart, we experienced many wonderful moments, met new people, meditated on God’s Word, which vividly and effectively touched our hearts and brought healing. Mary always leads most simply and quickly to Jesus. That is why it was with Her, Who knows us like no one else, that we passed the days of our lives. And looking to Her, we learned how to live with God and in God. This is the most important thing we could do for ourselves and others.
Together with Mary, we glorify Jesus for this time of our formation.

Pilgrimage of children to Sr. Dulcissima

Pilgrimage of children to Sr. Dulcissima

On May 6 with a pilgrimage to the servant of God Sister Dulcissima came children from Marklowice, who for the first time received the Lord Jesus into their hearts. The children, accompanied by their parents, participated in Holy Mass in our chapel, which was celebrated by their parish priest, Father Jacek Moron.
In his homily, the priest referred to the day of Helen Hoffmann’s First Holy Communion and encouraged the children to make friends with the Lord Jesus, just as Helen did. At the request of the parish priest, I told our pilgrims several testimonies telling of the graces received through the intercession of Sister Dulcissima.
After Mass, we visited the memorial chamber and prayed at our sister’s grave. Commemorative photos and a mini picnic in our monastery garden rounded out the time for our pilgrims.
May the servant of God Sister Dulcissima help and guide all children to the Heart of Jesus.

Meetings from word to word

Meetings from word to word

Meetings from Word to Word… or tea in the monastery are meetings dedicated to women that take place in the Branice community under the patronage of the Servant of God, Fr. John Schneider – our Founding Father, for the greater honor and glory of Mary Immaculate.

The Saturday afternoon meeting from Word to Word… begins with adoration and listening to the story of another Biblical heroine. During prayer, you can also reflect on various aspects of your life, which is helped by prepared “notebooks” with individual questions.

After meeting God present in the Blessed Sacrament and in the Word, there is time to share this meeting, especially what the Lord Jesus made known and discovered in the Word, what stopped us, moved us, or what we do not yet understand. Women’s testimonies often move deeply…, strengthening each other’s faith. Our human stories are so often written in the Bible, where we can find answers and hints for our daily lives. The Word of God is Living and becomes when we read it!

From the Word of God, we move on to meeting each other, to the word written in lower case, and it is during tea time that we can talk to each other, simply meet and be together. And the beautiful thing is that over the time of our meetings, beautiful relationships and bonds are created, which do not end when we leave the monastery, but they last and thus we become each other’s companions in our everyday matters and events, which are often so difficult, in which we need support, listening, help and mutual prayer for each other.

During the last meeting, Rachel and Lea taught us to look at ourselves in the eyes of God the Father, to find a sense of our value and beauty in Him.

The meeting ended with the transfer of the Flame of Love to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Aus dem Leben des Pflegeheims in Wroclaw-Psi Pole. Integrationsmaßnahmen.

Zajęcia integracyjne i różnego rodzaju warsztaty są ważnymi i oczekiwanymi elementami naszego codziennego życia. Pomagają w odprężeniu mieszkanek, ćwiczą kreatywność i dowartościowują, sprzyjają pozytywnym  interakcjom społecznym, wydobywają to, co najlepsze i najbardziej twórcze z naszych Pań.

Retreat “Dedication 33”

Retreat “Dedication 33”

On Monday, April 8, the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, the 33 DEDICATION retreat began in the Cathedral of Christ the King in Katowice. This is a unique retreat because it is a spiritual preparation for the 100th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Katowice. The metropolitan, Archbishop Adrian Galbas SAC, invited the faithful to participate in this spiritual journey, emphasizing that the retreat reflections were based on the texts of outstanding figures of the Silesian Church: Father Franciszek Blachnicki, Cardinal August Hlond and Blessed Father Franciszek Macha and Sister Dulcissima.

I am very pleased that this retreat is also under the patronage of our Servant of God, Sister Dulcissima. Reflections for each day of the retreat have been prepared in a beautiful manual, which includes texts by saints and candidates for the altars. On the title page we see Our Lady of Piekarska smiling, but also our sister Dulcissima.

You can experience these retreats in the form of audio, video and by visiting the You Tube channel: Apostolate 33, where specific reflections have been prepared for each day. These holy days are addressed to parish communities or groups of believers established at the parish, but also to individual participants – noted Archbishop Adrian Galbas.

The inauguration of this retreat began on April 8 with a holy mass in the Cathedral of Christ the King in Katowice, led by the archbishop.

During the homily, Archbishop Adrian emphasized that the goods that participants receive during these holy days are countless. “Thanks to this retreat, there is sincere devotion to Mary and sincere devotion to Mary,” the metropolitan said.

In our Brzeski community, we have started the 33-dedication retreat,

that is why, together with the superior, Sister Joanna, we were in the Katowice cathedral for the Eucharist inaugurating this holy time.

Our joy was great when at Holy Mass we also met our sisters from the community in Katowice: Superior Sr. Agnieszka and Sr. Zuzanna.

I will also add that the 33 DADICATION retreat also took the form: 33 EDICATION with priests from the Silesian region and was proposed by the Polish Episcopal Conference as a valued format of 33 days of retreat preparing for the act of devotion to the Mother of God. Sister Dulcissima Hoffmann also accompanies us here.

I am convinced that Sister Dulcissima’s presence at this holy time will bring spiritual fruits to all participants.

The author of the retreat reflections proposes:

Do like Sister Dulcissima, who, following the example of Mary, kept these matters in her heart and pondered them.

A shooting act from Sister Dulcissima for every day:

Jesus, fill me with the childlike love you had for Mary.
