Silence is an instrument which is very powerful and very useful in our daily life. The power of silence is more than what we think because silence is immense. Silence can be the starting point of all virtues. The magnitude of silence depends upon how much you can listen to your self, your needs, your aspirations, your complaints, your inspirations… In silence you discover your self. Take time to be silent and listen to your self. Silence is swimming deep in to your self. Learn to be silent and enjoy your inner beauty in the presence of your Creator. Not only in silence you listen others too.

- In the first reading we find the God who really wants to be our father. A Father who protects us, who corrects us, who respects us and a Father who will never abandon us. (2 Samuel 7:1-5, 8-12, 14, 16)
- From the second reading we recognize that in Jesus, the mystery of the face of this Father is revealed. That revelation demands faith, and that faith demands the obedience. Because He wants to be our only Father. (Romans 16:25-27)
- In the response of Mary to the revelation of Angel Gabriel we understand what the obedience of faith is. It’s the consent to be what God wants based on the faith on the Word of God. Bringing the impossible to the realm of possible by cooperating with God. Permitting the action of the Holy Spirit in us. Being ready to be in the shadow of the most high. God becomes the protagonist in your life. (Luke 1:26-38)

Advent is the time to discover the capacity of your heart to bring good news to the poor, to bind up hearts that are broken; to proclaim liberty to captives, freedom to those in prison; to proclaim a year of favor from the Lord (Isaiah 61, 1-2, 10-11).
Advent is the time to discover the things which we have to give thanks to God (1 Thessalonians 5, 16-14) and to rejoice in my God (Luke 1, 46-50, 53-54)
Advent is the time to find our vocation to be the witness to speak for the light and to be voice of the light (John 1, 6-8, 19-28)

- Make a straight highway for our God across the desert: Straighten the path of the Lord to us by cooperating in His Love in all areas of our lives.
- Let valley be filled in: Fill the valleys of the complexes of inferiority, guilt and helplessness with grace and love of God.
- Every mountain and hill be laid low: Let the hills of pride and egoism be leveled with humility and self-denial.

It is like a man travelling abroad:he has gone from home, and left his servants in charge, each with his own task; and he has told the doorkeeper to stay awake!
Three points: Stay awake, I am in charge, Do my task!
To stay awake is to feel the ardent desire to be at the presence of the Lord who is molding the clay. Feel that you are the work of His Hand (first reading)
I am in charge of what: of all the graces I have received through Jesus Christ. So, don’t stop thanking the Lord in prayers and witnessing. (second reading)
Each one with his own task: That is to respect the task of each one and to help the other with his or her task. Each task is important as it is entrusted by Lord.

Positive experiences of the past are treasures, and they are sources to keep you in light. Not to live in the past but as sources of energy. The positive experiences both small and big should be like a river flowing near we are planted. Whereas negative experiences are like burning heat that arrests our growth. The way to put out that is our capacity to forgive ourselves and others. Let’s learn to live with scars but in the light. Whenever the negativity comes up, turn to the bright side with forgiveness and trust. Those small positive experiences are life savers. Live by the side of the river of positive experiences, however small the stream is!
