Jubilee in Branice

Jubilee in Branice

On Gaudete Sunday, in the community of the Sisters of Mary Immaculate in Branice, we celebrated the diamond jubilee of the religious profession of our Sisters - Sr. M. Angela Okrój and Sr. M. Magdalena Piętek. Father Henryk Kałuża SVD celebrated the Eucharist in our chapel. Thanking God for the gift of life and vocation of our Jubilarian Sisters, we asked for the necessary favors for the next years of religious life. The preacher pointed out that after many years of various ministries in the Congregation, they now perform the difficult but also beautiful ministry of suffering, which has always been of exceptional importance in the Church. The second part of the celebration was Sunday lunch in the refectory, which was joined by Fr. Alojzy Nowak and Fr. Jarosław Dąbrowski - local parish priests. Meanwhile, during the afternoon coffee, the Jubilarians, together with guests and community  members, watched videos with greetings sent from the Sisters from the Generalate, from the Motherhouse, Brenna, Częstochowa, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Wieliczka. This gift was an eloquent sign of sisterly unity. Among the guests present that day were also representatives of the community from Piszkowice - Sr. M. Justyna Wojcieszak and Sr. M. Gabriela Drab. Unity in Love and Love within unity!

Unity in Love and Love within unity!

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Ps.133: 1 Dear Sisters, I would like to share with you the joy and taste of unity and love among us. Where there is love it does not choose anything, the heart is ready to give and commit to do good to anyone regardless of our ideologies and differences. Yon. 17: 21-23.; just as we are one, so be you, be united; these words give us an invitation to reflect on the deep and beautiful words that our founder gave us. "If you want to thanks, be in Unity." the unity requested by our founder has made us one family, one nation and one citizenship of Christ within our Immaculate Congregation; by following in the footsteps of our founder in maintaining unity and love among ourselves. Dear friends, I would like to share with you how unity and love work together. For example, we can see among the Sisters from Tanzania, Poland and Germany how we can live in unity of the Spirit with one heart according to the Spirit of our founder, and what especially touches me is to see that we are able to communicate and listen to each other regardless of our differences. So we can live in the unity of unity from all over the world by starting with the unity found in my own heart and later spreading it to my neighbours. If I do not have a heart of unity, then it will also be difficult to share with others. So as we see this year is our main motto to reflect on the unity and love of the Spirit of our founder. Our communication of sign language and images between us has helped us to unite in unity and thus has led to the success of our work as well as progress within our Organization. God bless our organizational unity so that we can live the will of our founder according to Him. Sr. Agnes- Tanzania!
MY MISSION EXPERIENCE IN ITALY/ ROME

MY MISSION EXPERIENCE IN ITALY/ ROME

On the 21st of this month ( November) we have celebrated the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In unity we came together in a special way to thank God. This day  touched me in a special way, I was able to thank God for the gift of calling, as well as for the various talents of my fellow sisters. These  talents are really  the enrichment of the Church and the congregation. Through our talents  we can offer a variety of services  happily. I would like to share with you about the  mission I serve as a Catechist. Some years ago I did this mission in  various parishes in my country Tanzania, now I am doing this mission in the parish of St.Francis of Assis here in Rome,  Italy. I am preparing children to receive various sacraments including first communion and confirmation . For the first time   here in this general  house community of Rome, the leaders have seen it worthy  to be close to the society  around us for the testimony of our mission. So I happily started my mission  this year. At  the  beginning  I faced some challenges in terms of  language, culture and even the manner of teaching which is  quite  different from Tanzania. Since I have a passion to this mission I rejoice and now I no longer find it difficult . On 21/11/2020 ten children received the first communion. And despite this Covid 19 epindemic , these children received Jesus with great joy in their hearts. And although  their lips  were covered with  masks, their smiles of joy appeared  in their bright eyes. Let us be proud of our talents and use them  in the benefit of others  instead  of hiding them . Our first mission  is prayer, then in every other mission that each one of us is entrusted, we should  offer  the very best of ourselves  for the praise and glory of God. We will be more blessed wherever we are. Sr. M. Clementina
I thank God I am already in the Philippines!

I thank God I am already in the Philippines!

Due to the Covid 19 epidemic, I waited a long time for permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Philippines to issue a visa for me. And finally, I managed to get it, and then buying a ticket and the visa itself, went through without a problem. The journey was long, first, from Warsaw to Amsterdam, where I waited almost 6 hours for a flight to Manila, and this flight took about 15 hours. In Manila, at the airport, all passengers had to undergo testing on Covid 19. Which I did as required, then, after taking my luggage, I went for two days to a previously booked hotel designated by the government of the Philippines to wait for the test result. When I got to the hotel it was already 21. The hotel also had Covid 19 regulations that had to be followed. Meals were brought to everyone's door and the doorbell announced them. On the second day in the morning at 9 I got an email with my result, which was negative. I called Sister Klaudia so that she could pick me up because my result was negative, I also informed the hotel about it. And thank God Sr. Klaudia picked me up from the hotel at 2 pm. So far I am getting to know work and surroundings.   Sr. M. Agata
FROM TANZANIA TO THE PHILIPPINES

FROM TANZANIA TO THE PHILIPPINES

I am very happy and thank God and the superiors of our Congregation for a year break in my mission work, I can go again to missionary work, this time not in Tanzania but in the Philippines in Manila. In the present time of  pandemic, after a long wait and uncertainty whether I will get permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Manila for inssuance by the Embassy of the Philippines in Poland for a visa, I have obtained a written permission. After a few days, I was at the Embassy of the Philippines in Warsaw, I will collect my visa and special entry permit, and on November 12 I will fly to Manila and I will join Sr. M. Klaudia. Together we will conduct missionary works and apostolate among the poorest neighborhoods of Manila. I am asking everyone to pray not only for themselves but for our missions in the Philippines that we may continue the missionary work of Kosiło and our Congregation. I cordially greet all the mission friends with my prayers. May the Name of the Lord be blessed now and forever!   Sr. M. Agata Sobczyk
