Życie, duchowość, historia i codzienna obecność Zgromadzenia w służbie Bogu i ludziom.

2nd Sunday of Advent
Readings: Isaiah 11:1-10; Romans 15:4-9
The Second Sunday of Advent reminds us that the coming of the Lord is not only an event in history but a transformation within the human heart. Isaiah speaks of a world renewed by the Spirit—a world where natural enemies live in peace, where the wolf dwells with the lamb. This is the fruit of God’s Spirit dwelling among us: divided hearts reconciled, suspicion replaced by trust, rivalry healed into fraternity. Saint Paul invites us to welcome one another as Christ welcomed us, with patience, mercy, and warmth, so that God may be glorified in our relationships. Advent, then, becomes the season in which we allow Christ to reshape our instincts, soften our judgments, and make peace possible in places once marked by tension. As we prepare for His coming, we ask for the grace to become instruments of harmony, people who choose tenderness over reaction, understanding over resentment, and communion over distance, so that the hope promised in the Scriptures may become visible through our lives. Let’s reflect: Advent is the time in which we allow the Spirit of Christ to transform our hearts, healing divisions and renewing relationships, so that peace may flourish where conflict once lived and God’s glory may shine through our welcome and unity.
